Cyberstalking involves the use of ICT to stalk or harass individuals, groups or organisations.

Online hate speech against women is rampant, with women bloggers and journalists facing frequent attacks due to their gender and, often, their race/ethnicity. Likewise, blackmail continues to increase with a disregard for privacy and accessible platforms for sharing personal information without consent.

Because these three forms of violence are so widespread and policies and laws have yet to catch up with the reality of ICT and VAW, Take Back the Tech! has put together roadmaps that offer strategies and tools for safety and prevention.
